Hi Guys, Here we see how we can install Kali 2.0 OS in virtual machine.
1. First you have to download https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/downloads and install it.
3. For now you can select in typical(Recommended) in configuration wizard.
4. Then Select ISO file downloaded from https://www.kali.org/downloads/
5. Click on next and select Linux OS.
6. Then give virtual machine name like Kali Linux.
7. Then select disk capacity i.e. how many space you want to give to new installed OS.
8. Then click on next,finish and power on virtual machine.
9. When power on virtual machine then you select Graphical install.
10. Then select language for OS.
11. Then select keyboard configuration
12. Enter host name.
13. Then you can provide optionally domain name
14. Then provide username and password
15. Then enter your username.
16. Then select time zone.
17. Then if ask for format space you selected previously, format it and click on next.
18. For Easy installation you can select first option.Other option we will discuss in Linux directory structure.
19. Here you can see complete configuration you have done so far, you can change it but after this step it cannot be revert back.
15. Select Yes and click on continue
16. Select no if you do not want to latest update
17. Select yes to install boot loader.
18. Click on continue to complete installation
19. Select /dev/sda/ to boot OS and click on next.
